Swan Lake Providence Theatre reviews
Great Family Night
Gorgeous incredible music and ballet
If you have never seen ballet before or listened to gorgeous classical music, Swan Lake is a must. The dancers were incredible and athletic. The scenery was stage worthy and the dancers costumes were so beautiful. The second act was my favorite with the traditional ballet costumes, all in white. Each dancer mirrored the other in grace and beauty. The main female dancer was outstanding. The dances with her male counterpart were so smooth and graceful and the crescendo of the music to the lifts brought tears to my eyes. The only negative experience with this performance is that there weren't enough programs. I did not and could not get one. I am always interested in the names of dancers, performers, singers, and the orchestra. I asked every usher there and no one had a book left. Too bad about that.
